The theater Yulkuikat (Singing of the heart), place where the word and the singing endure, since 2014. With capacity for175 people, Yulkuikat Theater is a genuine space where converge different artistic expressions such as theater, dance, music, puppets, juggle and works.
In the Yulkuikat theater the performing arts are the ideal pretext to get an interrelation in the communities, to promote a culture of coexistence and pacific connivance, Yulkuikat Theater foments a critical conscience, to get excited with the possibility of a better El Salvador.
Yulkuikat seeks to be a means of expression, formation, reflection and transformation.
The artistic cultural expressions must be inclusive and be available to every one, no matter economical distinctions, nor of any other kind.
The tables of the Yulkuikat Theater are a space for the presentation of communitary artist and also for professionals, in music, dance, and all the other scenic arts, it is ideal for all public, but with a special approach towards vulnerable communities.

In the theater forum the experience of appreciation of a work is put into function to generate, by means of techniques of participation, processes of reflection, analysis and discussion about exposed topics in the works.
Theater is a window with a view towards great realities of our society.
The workshops of national reality use techniques of popular participation like socio drama for the participants perform different experiences lived in their contexts.
Workshops are not seeking as a result staging of masterpieces, on the contrary they seek that from simple presentations and not complicated at all, they can generate processes of reflection and analysis that make possible the emergence of a critical conscience in the participants.
The theatrical experience, being a spectator or an actor it is a generator tool of learning that sensitize about the understanding and transformation of society.
Our motto is: Play to make theater. This process of theatrical formation is developed in schools and communities. The theater companies in the schools are integrated by students of the third cycle and high school, and they have the support of teachers of the subjects social studies and language and literature.
In the communities, the theater companies are conformed on the organization of other institutions such as churches, ADESCOS, mayoralties etc.
At the end of the processes of formation, theater companies begin the season of presentations that have as staging the schools, communities and Yulkuikat Theater.
Foment values of connivance through performances with puppets and masks. Matinee is directed especially to kids and families. Works are every Saturday.
All the works are original from Yulkuikat and its topic contents reflect realities and values in this historical time. Among presented topics are: territoriality, discrimination, bullying, family connivance, justice, among others.
Before a performance visitors have the opportunity to participate in workshops of crafts where they play with diverse techniques that improve the linkage and understanding of the work. Among the techniques we can mention: masks, stencil, finger Puppet and socks puppets.
